Drift dives, empty reefs

Vaavu's reputation is built entirely underwater. Its channel walls run deep and current-swept, drawing grey reef sharks and eagle rays in numbers most Maldivian atolls can't match — and because so few liveaboards make the crossing here, the reefs stay uncrowded.
